Lauren & Simon, 9th April 2022 – Dancing Man Brewery, Southampton Rock Wedding Disco, by DJ Chris Mack
This was the first booking i took for 2022 back in August 2019. This amazing couple that booked me for their Wedding breakfast and evening reception at the Dancing man brewery, Southampton rock wedding disco, in which they found me via my website djchrismack.co.uk
This beautiful venue is set just by the docks in Southampton, which was a nice 135 mile drive.
The couple were really into their rock and gave me a very specific list of tracks of what to play and most importantly what not to play.
Their first dance was White Lightning by Cadillac Three
Part of the way through, everyone else joined in.
The rest of the night consisted of 60’s to 90’s rock music with some metal and folk rock thrown in for fun.

We used Chris for our wedding this year. We provided Chris with a VERY long yes/no list of bands we like and don’t like and he absolutely nailed the music. Everyone was up dancing and having a great time to the point one of the staff at the venue thought we were going to come through the floor. After the wedding he sent us a list of the songs he played for us to turn into a Spotify playlist which was a really nice touch as we have been able to listen to it many times since, bringing back the memories of a great evening.
