Idsall School Prefect Dinner & Dance 27th April 2018 – Park Inn Hotel Telford Disco by DJ MarkyC
The Park Inn Hotel Telford Disco sent the request over to me. I decided that my specialist DJ MarkyC was perfect for this as the night was going to be the very latest music consisting of club/RNB/cheese and sing a long.
MarkyC said on this kind of night I let the music do the talking. Nearly every track played got a massive cheer or scream from the crowd, basically they loved it.
There was the odd bit of mic work, getting the crowd to throw their hands in the air and make some noise. Other than that the music flowed and as always, the video screen was a great added touch.
I spend hours searching for latest playable remixes without breaking to far away from the originals and that is what put the edge on this night.
Consisting of background acoustic music featuring songs from the likes of Calvin Harris and LMFAO then a more up tempo live club mix mixed by DJ Rikki B then non-stop pop/dance/RNB/cheese/Brit pop finishing with Tiesto
This gig took me back to my days and nights DJ’ing in 600+ capacity nightclubs and was great fun. There was a great buzz and to see the dance floor rammed from start to finish just made it.
Idsall School this is one night I will never forget!
