Park Inn Hotel by Radisson Telford Disco Badminton England Dinner & After party – 13th January 2018.

I supply all the DJ’s for the Park Inn Hotel by Radisson Telford disco, this year for Badminton England I put in one on my specialist DJ’s.   So they got something fresh and different from last year, I placed Video DJ MarkyC on the gig.  MarkyC would normally be put forward for more dance music gigs but one thing we are all good at is crowd reading.  All my DJ’s must carry a very wide range of music as not all gigs are what they say they are on paper.  This promotes and ‘outside the box’ mentality and this is exactly what MarkyC did last night playing so much more than he normally would with an epic result.

The night started with speeches, a three-course meal and screaming balloon’s going off everywhere.  Mostly at the DJ (easy target) then it was time to party.   The Park Inn has a good-sized dance floor but when it’s overflowing it shows just how good the night is.

Music wise consisted of 2 hours of Northern Soul/Motown, followed by a long set of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, blast of current pop, Classic Rock, Cheese, Brit Pop, sing a long followed by a massive round of applause as well as all the staff dancing in the back room at the end of the night.

Songs that stood out the most was Jackie Wilson – You’re Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher, The Village People – YMCA (Wayne’s Worlds 2) mix The Fratellis – Chelsea Dagger.

Feedback from MarkyC was off the scale, so much so he decided to text me when I had finished my night and was tucked up in bed. THANKS MARK!

A great night was had by all.
