The 40th Birthday of Wayne 29th December 2018 – Trowell Parish Hall Nottingham Rock Disco by DJ Chris Mack
Lizzie booked me to DJ her Husbands (Wayne) Birthday party in Nottingham Rock Disco in July of 2018. They both loved rock music and that’s what they wanted all night.
After a nice 77 mile drive up to Nottingham, I was set up and playing background music (Foo fighters and Pearl Jam) in no time at all, then whilst the buffet was being served a nice mix of 60’s and 70’s classic rock, slowly working up the decades finishing with a small mosh at the end of the evening .
Some examples of what was played during the evening is listed below:

Leo Metal – Baby shark (for the kids)
Fleetwood Mac – The chain
Guns ‘n’ Roses – You could be mine
Rolling Stones – Sympathy for the devil
Queen – We will rock you

So glad I found Chris for my Husbands 40th Birthday party! I struggle with anxiety, to the extent where I avoid talking over the phone whenever possible. So organising a party was always going to be a BIG challenge for me! But I spoke to Chris over the phone and he put me at ease straight away- a genuinely lovely guy and a great DJ. Professional, without being cold. Great music, really committed to the job. He was prepared to travel abit further afield for us too, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended 🙂
