New Years Eve at The Waterfront Barton Marina Disco
I was booked for this event in September of last year at the Waterfront Barton Marina disco.
This event was slightly different to what I am used to. I arrived at the venue later than normal at around 9pm and was set up just before 10pm. I started with background music, which comprised of classic rock songs like Fleetwood Mac’s the Chain and the Who – Who are you etc, while people finished their food. Then around 10.45pm the music got pumped into party mode bringing in the New Year with a bang.
The night was a cheesy and eclectic style of music with the last hour being 90’s pop mixed into pop punk music and the final 20 minutes of an Indie set.
