The 31st Birthday of Nava 20th July 2019 – Rothley Centre, Leicester 80’s Themed Disco by DJ MarkyC
MarkyC was booked for the belated 30th Birthday of Nava at the Rothley Centre, Leicester 80’s Themed Disco via the website. MarkyC has been working with the Blaithe Huges to create an evening to remember.
After the initial introduction email MarkyC asked Blaithe to send over around 100 80’s tracks. These were tracks that tried to cater for all tastes of 80’s music.
To makes things different and to keep guests entertained during the buffet Blaithe asked if it would be possible to do a quiz. MarkyC created a 80’s themed pub style quiz night with 4 rounds which really went down well. After the cutting of the cake the disco started. With everyone dressed up in a 80’s style the night was definitely one to remember.
Selection of tracks in the set included – Rick Astley – Never gonna give you up, Guns & Roses – Sweet Child of Mine, Madonna – Holiday, Yazoo – Don’t go.
From all the staff and MarkyC we want to say Happy Birthday to Nava. It really was great to work with you and we really hope you had a great evening. We all look forward to working or catching up with you again in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of Mark DJing at my sisters 80s themed party. He was brilliant! The music was great all night, he did an amazing 80’s quiz whilst we was eating and took requests and kept the dance floor full through out the night.
