Kidderminster Worcestershire Birthday Disco

The 40th Birthday of Dave 21st April 2018 – Kidderminster Worcestershire Birthday Disco by DJ Chris Mack

Dave booked me for his party in a marquee at his home in Kidderminster Worcestershire Birthday Disco.  This year has been a tough one for Dave, after being diagnosed with cancer about 15 months ago the last year for him and his family have been hell with treatments, surgery and illness.  So a real celebration of life with family and friends.  Dave loves his 90’s and indie music especially Oasis which he knew that I specialise in.

I had to arrive earlier than usual to set up as the marquee was erected at the bottom field adjacent house, which was to say fun to carry the gear up and down.

The background music was a great selection of indie tracks while the guests arrived.  After which the hog roast was served and the bonfire was lit.

The 1st song of the evening was Oasis ‘Wonderwall’ and the rest of the night consisted of a little 70’s and 80’s classics and a few pop songs with the last couple of hours with some 90’s Old Skool and Brit Pop like Underworlds ‘Born Slippy’ and the Wonderstuff’s ‘Dizzy’. The night finished with Robbie Williams ‘Angels’ and Oasis ‘Live forever’
