Sam’s 40th & Chloe’s 18th Birthday Parties 14th July 2018 – Kidderminster Carolians RFC Celebration Disco by DJ MarkyC
Sam booked MarkyC for a joint party at Kidderminster Carolians RFC Celebration Disco.
MarkyC has been working for 2 weeks creating the perfect playlist. To guarantee there was never an empty dancefloor as well as creating a high tempo play list. It focused on their choice of music, Motown/Northern Soul and the 80’s with a surprise song for her husband Gary at the end of the evening. Sam emailed MarkyC with a small selection to work on but this gave MarkyC the opportunity to select other songs to work in the evening.
The first hour while the guests were arriving the background the music was a mega mix of 80’s tracks we all know. As requested this was mid-tempo so creating the party atmosphere. After the first hour the evening buffet was served MarkyC played a selection of acoustic tracks.
A selection of songs that featured on the playlist are – Yazz – The only way is up, ABBA Medley by Stars on 45, The Communards – Don’t leave me this way.
After the buffet MarkyC opened with Mark Ronson & Bruno Marrs – Uptown Funk then straight into a Northern Soul/Motown set. Then it was onto The Killers – Mr. Brightside with none stop 80’s. MarkyC is pleased to report the dancefloor was full all night. It was nice to see the bar staff was dancing all night long as well.
The evening was finished by the surprise for Gary Farmer having the final dance with Sam to All 4 1 – I swear, finishing with a round of applause from the staff and the guests.
Myself and MarkyC personally want to say thank you and congratulations on your Birthdays and of course 20 years of marriage.
