The Indie Rock Wedding of Ellie & Mikey at The MPV

Ellie & Mikey 12th August 2017 – Indie rock wedding The MPV Walsall

Ellie & Mikey booked me to be the DJ for their Indie Rock wedding at the MPV Walsall. I arrived at the venue at 3pm  and was set for 4pm just as the guests started to arrive.  The background music for this part of the day was very relaxed and chilled.  The couple didn’t want to do a 1st dance but had 2 very special songs they wanted me to play when I saw them stood together. After everyone had arrive there was a couple of speeches then food was served. The style of music changed again to more of the likes of Motown and soul music.

Ellie & Mikey had also booked a band called Noasis (Oasis Tribute Band)when they arrived to set up I gave them 30 mins to do a sound check and while they were getting ready I changed the style of music to rock and roll for half an hour. Noasis came on and did an hour set of some classic Oasis tracks, after they finished it was time for me to start rocking the night with some great indie rock tracks, by the last hour 2-3am everyone was moshing.
