Charlotte & Josh 26th October 2019 – Heath House Wedding Disco by DJ MarkyC
MarkyC was booked to do the evening reception for Charlotte & Josh at The Heath House. MarkyC has communicated with the bride and groom via email to create the perfect playlist.
After the initial introduction MarkyC asked Charlotte & Josh for a selection of songs to be played and not to be played on the evening. The couple wanted the traditional wedding reception avoiding everything cheesy. They asked MarkyC to focus on 80’s, 90’s, Ska, Indie, Northern Soul. For the first dance they asked that everyone be invited onto the dance floor but then to play 2 songs during the evening that meant a lot to the couple. These were just to be dropped in at any point during the evening making it special to them
The first dance song was Faithless – Insomnia and the 2 special songs were James Arthur – Say you won’t let me go & The Verve – Lucky Man. Other songs on the night included The Specials – Too Much too young, The Jam – A town called Malice, Foo Fighters, Underworld to name a few.
From all the staff and MarkyC we want to say congratulations to Charlotte & Josh and MarkyC enjoyed entertaining you both and your guests on the evening and thank you for the kind feedback as we left the venue. We all look forward to working with you again the future and congratulations on what was a fantastic wedding.
