Elaine & Steve 13th October 2018 – Aston University Rec Centre Birmingham Steampunk Rock Wedding Anniversary Disco by DJ Chris Mack
This was an absolutely incredible event at Aston University rec centre Birmingham Steampunk Rock Wedding Anniversary Disco. The 40th Anniversary of this lovely couple, they booked me purely for the love of rock and were glad that I was so local.
The night started while the guests arrived with some Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam as background music. Everyone was dressed in Steampunk outfits which were absolutely brilliant. Just before the buffet was served, The Belly Fusion Dance Collective came out to entertain everyone and to be honest they were just fantastic!
As you can see from the video, they were incredible.
The rest of the night consisted of 60’s to present rock music with a little moshing towards the end. Some of the requests played were:
Audioslave – Cochise and Gasoline
Rammstein – Feuer Frei
Clutch – Profits of Doom
Bad Company – Bad Company
Slipknot – Duality
To name but a few…
The whole night was just incredible from start to finish with the last song being Disturbed ‘The sound of silence’. I really enjoyed this gig, I was still buzzing when I got home.
