Birmingham Rock Wedding Disco

Sadie & Josh 2nd November 2019 – The Old Library, Birmingham Rock Wedding Disco

This awesome couple booked me for their evening reception at the Old Library, Birmingham Rock Wedding Disco back in February of 2018.

They chose a Mexican day of the dead theme for their Wedding which is why the old sombrero came out to wear.

The couple didn’t have a 1st dance, they just wanted rock songs throughout the night, I played a slow build up from the 60’s leading up to some EMO and pop punk and by the end they were moshing but with also some random songs thrown in to catch me off guard.

Some of the couples requests listed here:

  • All American Rejects – Dirty little secret
  • Mariachi El Bronx – 48 roses
  • Drowning Pool – Bodies
  • Pearl Jam – Even flow
  • Electric Six – Gay bar
  • Miley Cyrus – Party in the USA
  • Arctic Monkeys – When the sun goes down
  • Rage Against the Machine – Killing in the name of
  • Cancer Bats – Sabotage

To name but a few…

The final song of the evening was Killswitch Engage ‘My curse’

I wish you both the very best for the future and please keep in touch.

  1. From the moment Chris called me after I enquired, I knew he was a rare gem amongst the wedding DJ’s of this world. We hit it off straight away, Chris listened to what I wanted (a rock wedding, of course) and absolutely smashed it out of the park when the day finally came around just under 2 years later. One of the only suppliers to keep in touch through the planning, Chris is truly a lovely guy who is excellent at what he does. He’s even been keeping us sane during lockdown with his Facebook live sets. We’ll be using Chris every time we need a DJ. His passion and professionalism really is out of this world and we cannot recommend him enough! Also, he has some really cute dogs.
