Bartle Hall Hotel Rock Wedding Disco

Jaxx & Jon 7th September 2018 – Bartle Hall Hotel Rock Wedding Disco by DJ Chris Mack

This great couple booked me for their evening reception at Bartle Hall Hotel Rock Wedding Disco also in May of this year.  It made this weekend one of the hardest working ones in my career. After driving 180 miles back home from Kent, resting a couple of hours I then journeyed 130 miles up north to Preston.  People ask if I’m willing to travel distance  and if its worth it this weekend both proves that yes I am and yes it most definitely is.

The 1st dance was Exile ‘Kiss you all over’ followed by 6 personally chosen songs from the couple:

Kiss – I was made for loving you

Frankie goes to Hollywood – The power of love

Elvis Presley – Can’t help falling in love

Cash & David – Adore

Alt-Jay Breezeblocks

Sonic Youth – Superstar

After these the rest of the night worked up the decades from the 50’s with song like Buddy Holly ‘Oh boy!’ and Eddie Cochran ‘3 steps to heaven’ into the 60’s with songs from the Doors and Kinks up to the 70’s and 80’s with classic rock songs then mixed in with some electric 80’s (Grooms choice).  The last hour and half was one hour of Pop Punk with some Tenacious D, Blink 182 and My Chemical romance thrown in.  Ending with a final half hour of moshing to Slipknot and RATM.

The last song was a personal favourite of the couple Pink Floyd ‘Wish you were here’

I wish you both the very best for the future and please keep in touch. 🤘🏻

  1. We booked Chris for our alternative wedding. As a massive music fan and musician myself we chose Chris for his knowledge and professionalism. His music rig is awesome and not the usual run of the mill wedding dj gear. He played only the best from each decade and even got a pit going at the end. Really nice guy and well worth booking for any occasion you want good music at.
