Keith & Karen’s joint 60th Birthday Bash 7th October 2017 – Blakelands Country House
Keith and his wife Karen booked me back in February for their joint birthday party at Blakelands Country House. They were after an eclectic style DJ. Keith is a big fan of 60’s and 70’s rock and Karen loves her Motown music.
The night started with a Motown tribute act called Baby Love who performed an hours set of classic Motown songs. What a brilliant start to the night.
I started off with some familiar pop songs for the kids then a little 70’s disco which was followed by 60’s rock, then I played a few more up to date songs and then the last hour was 70’s classic glam rock tunes by Trex and Sweet and the night finished with David Bowie Ziggy Stardust.
