Blakelands Country House Rock Wedding Disco

Matt & Sam 22nd September 2018 – Blakelands Country House Rock Wedding Disco by DJ Chris Mack

This lovely couple booked me for their evening reception at Blakelands Country House Rock Wedding Disco back in September of last year.  They both love rock music but also wanted something that would cater for all the guests.

The father/daughter dance was the first song played which was Ozzy & Kelly Osbourne ‘Changes’ which was followed straight after by the Arctic Monkeys ‘I wanna be yours’ as the couples 1st dance.

After that the rest of the night consisted of some of the better current pop songs, 70’s disco, Motown, some rock and roll leading into 80’s rock and electric , Indie, a small pop punk set with the last 20 minutes of moshing, with the last song by the Scorpions ‘Wind of change’

Here are some of the couple requests of the night:

Hold the line by Toto

Should I stay or should I go by the Clash

A little respect by Erasure

Don’t you want me by Human League

Follow you by Bring me the Horizon

The end of heartache by Killswitch Engage

I wish you both the very best for the future and please keep in touch

  1. “Chris was excellent as our wedding DJ. He catered for both our older/family guests and our friends musical tastes with ease and made sure the dance floor was moving all night whilst still playing plenty of rock and indie. I will be looking to hire Chris again and would highly recommend him!! Thanks again Chris!!”
